Pouring the Pavilion Floor

A cement floor for the Pavilion is one of the 2002 projects. Work Parties completed the project in Work Parties in June & July, just prior to Arunah Hill Days. The pictures below are linked to the Project Picture Journals.
On June 1, gutters were installed to collect rain water for mixing concrete. By June 22, both downspouts were connected to tanks. The tanks were filled within a week! On June 29-30, forms were built for the floor, and three of five sections were poured.
