Arunah Hill Days Flyer (posted later this year)
The Arunah Hill Natural Science Center will host a family-oriented weekend of astronomy, star gazing, nature walks, and science education. Several large telescopes will be available for nightly viewing of Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, galaxies, star clusters, and other wonders of the Summer Milky Way. Experienced amateur astronomers will conduct nightly constellation orientation talks. Specially filtered solar telescopes will also be used during daylight hours to reveal sunspots and solar prominences.
Saturday afternoon activities for families feature guided nature walks, gps treasure hunts, and the famous Arunah Hill Days rocket building and launch fest. All children will be able to build and launch a model rocket under the supervision of "Ranger Gary" Cislak.
